Our Accommodation

All our accommodations are family-friendly and welcome groups (if you are booking over 3 units, please contact info@rumbridge.co.uk prior to booking), couples, and solo travellers.

We also allow Dogs in a couple of our accommodations, Queenie and Ed’s Pod. Please see our Dog Friendly page for more info.


Accessibility Features

We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you have any specific access needs or mobility requirements, please let us know in advance — we’ll do our best to assist or advise on the most suitable accommodation.

General Site Rules at Rum Bridge

To help everyone enjoy a safe and relaxing visit, please follow the site rules below:

All visitors must check in at reception on arrival- including pre-approved guests.

  • Children under 16 must be always accompanied by an adult.
  • If you’re bringing a dog, email us in advance at info@rumbridge.co.uk with the breed.
  • Dogs must be always kept on a lead to protect our wildlife.
  • Park only in designated parking areas – no parking on grass or lake banks.
  • Toilets are available for all fishing guests. Overnight pod guests also have access to showers during their stay.
  • Please leave all shared facilities clean and tidy. If anything needs attention, let a member of the Rum Bridge team know.
  • Rum Bridge accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or injury. By checking in, you accept all rules and terms.
  • No open fires. Fire pits can be hired and must be used in designated areas only. Wood must be supplied by Rum Bridge only. Do not bring or source own wood or coal.
  • No abuse or antisocial behaviour toward staff or guests – this will result in immediate removal from the site.
  • No swimming or paddling in the lakes – this applies to both people and pets.
  • In the event of an accident or if you lose an item in the water, please notify Rum Bridge staff as soon as possible. Do not attempt to wade into the lakes – life rings are positioned around the lakes for emergencies.
  • We highly recommend all visitors have their own personal insurance.

Fishing At Rum Bridge

Whether you’re here for a peaceful day session or an overnight angling experience, our well-stocked lakes are perfect for all levels.

What’s Available:

  • Carp, Tench, and other coarse fish
  • Eight designated fishing pitches
  • Peaceful, natural surroundings
  • Bivvy tent spots for night anglers
  • Private fishing pitch included with Lakeside Pod bookings

Important Stay Information

Check-in is from 4:00–7:00pm (until 8:45pm on Fridays during high season)
Check-out is by 10:30am, unless otherwise agreed.
Early check-in from 2:00pm is available for £20 – please email us in advance to check availability.

To help you prepare for your visit:

Check out our blog – Essential Checklist, note we don’t have a tackle shop for fishing so please bring your own gear.

Add Ons & Extras

We offer optional extras for your stay.
These include:

  • Breakfast Basket (Coming soon 2026)

These optional extras can be arranged at the front desk or requested via info@rumbridge.co.uk


On Arrival:

Park just inside the main gate and check in at reception. One car per booking; extra cars must be approved in advance (£10). Please drive slowly (5mph) and avoid parking on grass or verges.

We’ll need to take a £100 security deposit on arrival, via card pre-authorisation. It’s released within 7 days if everything is left in good order.

Some satnavs may direct you to Clare Golf Course. If so, just turn left onto Stoke Road – we’re 200 yards along, next to the 40mph sign. (Note: it’s a tight turn.)
